Update Peru Project 2010

The Peru project 2010 has turned out to be a huge blessing for many. Just recently I was able to head back to Peru and visit the locations where our last humanitarian project was conducted. The original project was to build three churches, three water wells, give medical attention to over a thousand people and dress over 1500 children with brand new outfits and shoes through the Dress A Child program. Well all of the above mentioned was completed and more. Two more churches were constructed thanks to the volunteers who saw the need and jumped into action donating funds to give these remote tribes a place to worship our Lord. The churches our beautiful; what a blessing it was to see children taking their Sabbath school lessons in their new rooms when before they had to sit in the dirt under a tree. While visiting Dos de Mayo all the members quickly gathered to say thank you and tears of joy were shared by the members as they expressed their gratitude, not only for the church but for pure drinking water as well. All I can say on behalf of the people in Peru to those that made their dreams a reality THANK YOU!

Prints of Hope partners with Maranatha Volunteers International

Prints of Hope and Maranatha Volunteers International (MVI) will be working together this Christmas to bring joy and hope to needy children in Honduras through the Prints of Hope Dress A Child program. Maranatha will be building a school to children in extreme need in one of the villages in Honduras. At least 500 children from that school will be receiving a brand new outfit and shoes. This will be the first time these kids receive something new in their lives. We are very excited to bring this program to these children through Maranatha. We understand that the need is great and the new partnership with MVI helps us reach many more poor children around the world. Our only hope at Prints of Hope is that people may see the great need and continue to support this program as it brings hope and great joy to children. The newest addition to the program is the coloring book that will accompany the gifts. Unlike all other coloring books, the Dress A Child coloring book is designed not only for children but also for adults that are unable to read; as they would be able to look at the images and understand its message. The message is the gospel from creation until heaven all in 32 images “trust me is pretty cool”. We are very excited about this new addition as it fulfills our mission in bringing Christ to family’s homes in a simple and understandable manner.

This year Prints of Hope will be heading to Jesus, Paraguay where hundreds of families are either homeless or live in conditions that are extremely sad to see. According to statistics this is one of the poorest areas in Paraguay.

Benefit Concert

On Saturday, March 22, 2008 a benefit concert for the Dress A Child program took place at the Florida Hospital Church in Orlando, Fla. Artist like Nirmita Hernandez, Sea of Glass, Katherine Morua, and Nahomy among many others and Willie Ramos “the getto preacher” gave their time for this noble cause.
