Stay up to date with what POH is doing in Paraguay.

Day 1 and 2...  Today is Sabbath and day 2 of our trip. Yesterday we started working after an 11 hour flight from  Miami. We met some of the families that are receiving the homes and it really brings tears to your eyes to see the condition these families live in.

We are back to our lodging after a blessed Sabbath. We were able to distribute 500 Dress A Child bags to children that live in extreme poverty. Soon we will be posting some of the pictures and you can see hundreds of children with their clothes all torn and their feet extremely dirty for walking with no shoes.  The medical team also started working today and they were able to help hundreds of people, one small surgery and a severe case where a little girl had to be sent to the hospital.  Tomorrow we expect a hard long day as we start the evangelism campaign.

Stay tuned for more. Have a bless night.

Day 3...it has rained all day long and we weren't able to work on constructing the houses.  But it seems that God had a plan. Instead we visited an indian tribe in a very remote area. It was a quite a challenge even getting to them in the old bus that we are using for transportation and all of the mud.  The medical team was able to treat about 30 children that were extremely sick. These kids were wet and shivering with fevers and yet barefoot. We also started the evenglism campaign and VBS. The kids were excited to hear the story about creation, watch a video, and sing songs. Well, it is late now and it has been a long day.

Good night, till tomorrow.

Day 4...  we are almost done with 4 houses. I know the Lord really blessed, great weather with great volunteers. The medical team saw about 190 people. VBS was amazing with over 90 children, their joy could not be expressed in such short message. Its 11:33 p.m. and i'm exhausted but eager to help more families have a place for shelter and bring extreme joy as kids receive their new gifts. Please continue to pray.

Day 5... Well 6 houses are on there way to to put the roof. The medical team was able to reach one of the indian tribes after a lot of mud and crossing a tiny wood bridge over a river. Over 50 people were helped in that village. One of the families that are receiving the homes received a makeover. they were bathed, received new clothes, got a haircut, shoes. Here words "I don't remember the last time a took a shower". The entrire family is now committed to use shoes all the time. The Lord is blessing in ways we cannot imagine. Continue to pray... this is not over.
